Branch In-charge- Suzuki Workshop

Job Purpose

Financial Responsibilities

• Achieve branch financial and non-financial targets, including labour sales, repair order volumes, and service campaign targets.
• Reduce workshop operating costs and ensure proper bay utilization for revenue generation.
• Handle petty cash, settle monthly bills with Accounts, and submit reports for management review.

People and Administration

• Motivate the workshop team and maintain high morale to achieve high customer service standards.
• Recommend subordinate training needs and conduct annual performance assessments for staff development.
• Ensure safety and other authority regulations are followed.
• Plan and implement leave rosters so manpower availability and targets are maintained.

Workshop Process

• Ensure work instructions and procedures are implemented to support quick vehicle turnaround.
• Resolve customer complaints as a priority and prevent recurrence.
• Ensure recall, warranty, and general repairs follow manufacturer guidelines and meet repair quality requirements.
• Maintain workshop tools and equipment for efficient operations.
• Supervise work in progress and close jobs on time to reflect branch revenue.

Controls and Profitability

• Regularly audit reportee compliance with standard operating procedures.
• Monitor lump-sum repairs to ensure profitability.
• Monitor service charge-out rates according to policy and ensure adherence to discount policy.

Qualifications and Experience

• Three-year diploma or bachelor's degree in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering.
• Five years of dealership experience at Supervisor or Senior Service Advisor level.

Knowledge and Skills

• Strong knowledge of repair, warranty, company, legal, and safety policy adherence.
• Knowledge of cost control, work-in-progress monitoring, report generation, repair quality, spare parts, and the market.
• Sound financial awareness and business acumen.
• Excellent negotiation, influencing, relationship management, and presentation skills.

Job Details

• The role is based in the Suzuki workshop branch in Sharjah.
