Job Purpose
Supervise and control brake and electrical production activities for trailer systems.
Ensure proper installation, testing, quality, and timely completion according to customer specifications and company standards.
Lead technicians, resolve technical issues, and achieve production targets without rework.
Production Supervision
- Supervise daily activities of brake and electrical technicians on the production line.
- Allocate manpower and assign tasks according to production plans and priorities.
- Monitor installation progress and ensure units are completed within planned hours.
- Coordinate with Production Engineering, QC, PDI, and other departments.
- Document material shortages and defective parts and maintain records for follow-up.
Brake System Management
- Supervise installation and testing of air brake systems, brake chambers, air valves and piping, ABS/EBS systems, and brake adjustments.
- Verify correct installation, routing, and functionality of brake components.
- Support technicians with brake troubleshooting.
- Ensure brake testing and inspections are completed before PDI.
