Responsibilities
- Operate a Boom Loader safely and efficiently according to project requirements
- Perform excavation, trenching, backfilling, grading, and material loading operations
- Load, transport, and stockpile materials such as soil, sand, gravel, and construction materials
- Assist with site preparation, clearing, leveling, and general earthworks activities
- Conduct daily pre start inspections and perform routine maintenance checks on the equipment
- Report equipment faults, damage, or maintenance requirements promptly to the supervisor
- Read and follow site plans, drawings, work instructions, and supervisor directions
- Ensure compliance with all company safety policies, site regulations, and environmental requirements
- Work closely with site supervisors, engineers, and ground personnel to complete tasks safely and efficiently
- Maintain the boom loader in a clean, safe, and serviceable condition
- Identify and avoid underground utilities, overhead hazards, and other site risks during operations
- Complete daily equipment inspection checklists, logbooks, and work activity reports as required
Requirements
- Valid Heavy Equipment Operator License or Certification
- Proven experience operating a Boom Loader or similar heavy equipment
- Good understanding of excavation, grading, material handling, and construction site safety procedures
- Ability to perform routine equipment inspections and basic preventive maintenance
- Physically fit and able to work in varying weather conditions and demanding site environments
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team

Job Overview

Key Responsibilities
