Job Overview

  • We are seeking a skilled and experienced Bobcat Operator (Skid Steer Loader) to safely and efficiently operate a skid steer loader for material handling, site preparation, grading, loading, backfilling, and general construction activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate a Bobcat (Skid Steer Loader) safely and efficiently in accordance with project requirements.
  • Perform site preparation, grading, leveling, backfilling, and material handling operations.
  • Load, transport, and stockpile materials such as soil, sand, gravel, aggregate, and construction debris.
  • Assist with site clearing, debris removal, and cleanup activities.
  • Operate approved attachments such as buckets, forks, sweepers, augers, or breakers, where applicable.
  • Load materials into trucks, hoppers, or designated storage areas.
  • Conduct daily pre start inspections and perform routine maintenance checks on the equipment and attachments.
  • Report equipment faults, damage, or maintenance requirements promptly to the supervisor.
  • Read and follow site plans, work instructions, and supervisor directions.
  • Ensure compliance with all company safety policies, site regulations, and environmental requirements.
  • Work closely with site supervisors, engineers, and ground personnel to complete assigned tasks safely and efficiently.
  • Identify underground utilities, overhead hazards, and other site risks before commencing work.

Requirements

  • Valid Heavy Equipment Operator License or Certification (as required by local regulations).
  • Proven experience operating a Bobcat (Skid Steer Loader) or similar compact construction equipment.
  • Good understanding of material handling, grading, and construction site operations.
  • Ability to perform routine equipment inspections and basic preventive maintenance.
  • Knowledge of workplace health and safety requirements on construction sites.
  • Physically fit and able to work in varying weather conditions and demanding site environments.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
