Maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and support the proper functioning of biomedical equipment, particularly hair transplant machines and related medical equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair hair transplant machines and biomedical equipment.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance and arrange timely repairs for identified faults.
- Ensure medical equipment is safe and functioning properly.
- Coordinate with equipment suppliers and external service providers when required.
- Maintain repair, maintenance, and equipment issue records.
- Conduct regular equipment inspections and testing.
- Support clinical staff with equipment-related technical issues.
- Ensure compliance with safety and biomedical equipment standards.
- Report major equipment faults and replacement requirements to management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in biomedical engineering or a related field.
- One to three years of experience in biomedical equipment maintenance.
- Experience with hair transplant equipment is preferred.
- Good troubleshooting and technical skills.
- Knowledge of medical equipment safety and maintenance procedures.
Performance Measures
Performance measures include equipment downtime, repair and response time, preventive maintenance completion, equipment functionality and safety, breakdown resolution rate, maintenance record accuracy, repeat equipment faults, and safety standards compliance.
