Bindery - Operator II (61455)

As a Bindery - Operator II you will be responsible for the set up, operation, troubleshooting and maintenance of applicable binding equipment.

This position is 4 days a week for a 10 hour shift from 2:45pm to 1am with possible work on Fridays 1pm to 9pm.

• Set up, run, and maintain assigned machinery.
• Troubleshoot assigned machinery according to company procedures and practices to assure efficiency and quality to meet the required production schedule.
• Read and understand the written information pertaining to the job.
• Strive to meet or exceed departmental and company goals.
• Interpret and apply department policies, procedures and job instructions accurately.
• Communicate effectively with incoming shift personnel to ensure smooth transitions and minimal disruptions.
• Maintain accurate counts.
• Follow all safety procedures as set forth by Walsworth.
• Move and organize scheduled work for assigned machinery.
• Assist in training new Bindery Operators.
• Monitor production and quality to make recommendations on process improvements.
• All other duties as assigned.
