Bindery - Operator III - 2nd Shift (59298)

As a Bindery - Operator III you will be responsible for the set up, operation, troubleshooting and maintenance of applicable equipment.

The equipment operated includes, but is not limited to: Tippers, Sewers, Inserters, Reinforcers and Forklifts.

• AS400 or Monarch

• Set up, run, and maintain assigned machinery.
• Troubleshoot assigned machinery according to company procedures and practices to assure efficiency and quality to meet the required production schedule.
• Read and understand the written information pertaining to the job.
• Strive to meet or exceed departmental and company goals.
• Interpret and apply department policies, procedures and job instructions accurately.
• Communicate effectively with incoming shift personnel to ensure smooth transitions and minimal disruptions.
• Maintain accurate counts.
• Move and organize scheduled work for assigned machinery.
• Assist in training new Bindery Operators.
• Monitor production and quality to make recommendations on process improvements.
• All other duties as assigned.
