Bindery - Assistant (61791)

As a Bindery - Assistant you will be responsible for supporting day-to-day operations across various Bindery equipment by performing a variety of manual tasks to ensure a clean, organized, and efficient work environment.

This position plays a vital role in assisting skilled workers, handling materials, preparing workstations, and maintaining workplace safety and productivity.

• Perform general labor tasks such as material handling, staging and loading products.
• Assist machine operators with job set-up and basic tasks as needed.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of assigned areas by sweeping disposing of waste and maintaining supply levels.
• Follow all safety procedures as set forth by Walsworth
• Operate basic tools and equipment safely and as directed.
• Read and understand the written information pertaining to the job.
• All other duties as assigned.

• Ability to remain organized and self-directed in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to learn computer applications as necessary for the position.
• Ability to read, interpret and follow verbal and written instructions, work procedures and other related materials.
