Job Summary
Develop, model, and manage coordinated MEP BIM models for Gulf-region construction and infrastructure projects.
Work with multidisciplinary BIM teams to deliver accurate, coordinated, and construction-ready models.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, model, and manage HVAC, plumbing, fire fighting, and drainage systems using Revit.
- Coordinate with architectural, structural, and other MEP disciplines to identify and resolve design clashes.
- Conduct clash detection using Navisworks, generate clash reports, and track resolution.
- Prepare and update shop drawings, coordination drawings, and as-built documentation.
- Ensure models comply with LOD requirements, the BIM Execution Plan, and ISO 19650 standards.
- Extract quantities and schedules from BIM models to support estimation and procurement.
- Maintain version control, model accuracy, and consistency across project phases.
- Collaborate with site engineers and project managers to resolve technical queries and design clarifications.
- Attend BIM coordination meetings and document minutes and action items.
- Support the BIM Manager or Lead with model federation and coordination workflows.
- Ensure adherence to project timelines and deliverable schedules.
