Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain BIM standards, naming conventions, workflows, and protocols across all projects.
• Lead the preparation, execution, and continuous improvement of BIM Execution Plans (BEP) in accordance with company, client, and project requirements.
• Establish BIM templates, families, content libraries, and standardized tools to improve productivity and consistency.
• Create and maintain libraries for third-party suppliers, materials, products, and manufacturer-specific components.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to ensure accurate, complete, and fully integrated models throughout all project stages.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, consultants, and contractors to streamline model coordination and data exchange.
• Conduct model audits, clash detection, quality assurance reviews, and compliance checks using Revit, Navisworks, and related BIM platforms.
• Ensure BIM deliverables are reviewed, approved, and submitted on time in line with contractual and client requirements.
• Manage model documentation, revision tracking, version control, and folder structure for all BIM data.
• Audit project setup, file naming, folder structures, and adherence to internal BIM standards.
• Organize and lead BIM kick-off meetings with all disciplines to align scope, responsibilities, and delivery expectations.
• Periodically review coordination checklists and discuss progress, issues, and design status with Design Managers.
• Provide technical support, mentoring, and training to BIM Coordinators, architects, engineers, and design teams.
• Monitor and audit BIM model compliance with Dubai Municipality regulations and applicable authority standards.
• Research and introduce new BIM technologies, digital tools, and industry best practices to enhance project delivery efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7–10 years of experience in BIM management within the architecture, engineering, or construction industries.
• Proficient in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and related BIM coordination tools.
• Strong knowledge of BIM standards such as ISO 19650, AIA E202, and other industry frameworks.
• Experience with project collaboration platforms such as BIM 360, ACC, or similar is an advantage.
• Proficiency in Building Information Modeling (BIM) and BIM Coordination processes
