About the Role
TD Engineering and Consulting is hiring a BIM Coordinator in West Mogappair, Chennai.
The role leads multidisciplinary BIM coordination across architectural, civil, structural, MEP, QS, and project teams.
The position requires independently leading BIM coordination from design coordination through construction and as-built stages.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead multidisciplinary BIM coordination and review models and construction drawings for accuracy and constructability.
- Perform clash detection, analysis, and resolution using Navisworks Manage.
- Manage BIM models through LOD 500, including construction-stage and as-built requirements.
- Develop and maintain BIM Execution Plans, standards, modelling procedures, and QA/QC workflows.
- Review model quality, naming conventions, revisions, drawing outputs, and BIM documentation.
- Coordinate with design, engineering, BIM, construction, consultant, contractor, and site teams.
- Lead coordination meetings, prepare reports, monitor action closure, and review construction documentation.
- Ensure model federation, version control, data management, and coordinated workflows.
- Support LOD 400/500 deliverables and as-built BIM models.
- Guide and mentor BIM Engineers and Modelers.
