Role overview

Datamatics Global Services is hiring a BI Developer/Consultant in KSA.

The role is on-site and requires 4–6 or more years of experience building BI solutions end to end.

Arabic speaking ability is explicitly identified as a must-have.

Core responsibilities

  • Build BI solutions across data modeling, visualization, and deployment.
  • Develop dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, or another major BI tool.
  • Gather requirements directly from business stakeholders and translate them into dashboards and reports.
  • Build and troubleshoot ETL/ELT pipelines feeding BI layers.
  • Apply SQL query optimization, stored procedures, complex joins, and data modeling techniques.
  • Use DAX or an equivalent calculation language when the solution is Power BI-centric.

Required qualifications

  • 4–6 or more years of experience building BI solutions end to end is required.
  • Expert-level hands-on skills in at least one major BI tool, including Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik, are required.
  • Strong SQL skills covering query optimization, stored procedures, and complex joins are required.
  • Star-schema and dimensional data modeling experience is required.
  • ETL/ELT pipeline development and troubleshooting experience is required.
  • Business stakeholder requirements gathering and dashboard or report translation ability are required.
  • Arabic speaking ability is a must-have.

Preferred qualifications

  • Microsoft Fabric or similar unified analytics platform experience is advantageous.
  • Python or R exposure for advanced analytics feeding BI layers is advantageous.
  • Executive or C-level presentation experience is advantageous.
  • Operations, logistics, parking, or municipal data experience is advantageous.
  • Data governance, row-level security, and prior consulting experience are advantageous.
