Role Overview
The Bell Captain supervises day-to-day guest services operations and bell persons while delivering memorable hotel guest experiences.
The role is responsible for guest assistance, luggage services, team performance, and knowledge of hotel operations.
Responsibilities
- Supervise bell persons and day-to-day bell service operations.
- Greet and escort arriving and departing guests to and from their accommodations.
- Retrieve, transport, organize, and store guest luggage according to guidelines.
- Inspect guest rooms and acquaint guests with room features.
- Respond to guest inquiries and requests in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner.
- Schedule, counsel, evaluate, recognize, and develop team members.
- Recruit, interview, and train team members.
- Ensure team members know hotel products, services, facilities, events, pricing, policies, and the local area.
- Assist with the maintenance, appearance, and functionality of equipment.
