BDH Technical Sales Support

Role overview

What you’ll do

• Support or lead sales activities for BDH products within the Middle East region.
• Provide technical sales support for classifiers, HGMS, thickeners, flotation, filters, automation and hydrometallurgy products.
• Evaluate customer RFQs and application requirements using technical knowledge of filters and hydrometallurgy products.
• Visit customer sites to assess operations, identify improvement opportunities and recommend optimized solutions.
• Support sales funnels, campaigns, quotations, upgrade opportunities and modernization offerings.
• Work with product lines, PCS teams, service teams and account managers to develop value-added technical solutions.
• Use Enovia, Product Wiki, Tacton and Value Calculators for proposal development and solutioning.
• Support commissioning, troubleshooting, process optimization, spare-parts selection and technical customer discussions.
• Develop value propositions and win plans for upgrades, modifications and optimization projects.
• Collect customer feedback, market intelligence and competitor information.
• Support warranty reviews, inspection reports, recommendations and solution definitions.
• Progress sales cases from lead generation through proposal, negotiation and closure, and support sales-team capability development.

What you’ll bring

• Basic product knowledge of hydrometallurgy and filters is required to understand customer requirements and RFQs.
• Understanding of mineral processing principles includes particle size, density, pressure, reagents, filtration, flotation and thickening performance drivers.
• Awareness of upgrade and modernization opportunities in flotation, thickener, automation and related BDH product lines is expected.
• A Mechanical, Process, Metallurgical or Chemical Engineering degree or equivalent is required.
• The role requires 7–10 years of experience in technical sales support, application engineering, mineral processing, field service or maintenance in mining and minerals processing.
• Experience with filters, hydrometallurgy, flotation, thickening, automation or related technologies is highly desirable.
• Strong communication, presentation, customer engagement and solution-selling abilities are required.
• Extensive travel throughout the Middle East and internationally may be required.
• Basic understanding of SAP, Salesforce and AI is listed.

Workplace and travel

• The role is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
• Approximately 60% travel to customer sites across the Middle East is expected.
