Responsibilities
- Answer customer questions about wine origin, vintage, and style
- Verify quality and quantity of all stock and supplies
- Prepare requisitions for supplies
- Restock alcohol ensuring required bottle count
- Announce last call at designated closing time
- Prepare drink orders using precise recipes and measurement systems
- Bring, open, and serve wine or champagne bottles
- Count cash at end of shift, fill designated cash reports, resolve discrepancies, deposit receipts, and lock cash
- Obtain required change for expected business level while keeping bank secure
- Store and lock alcohol, beer, wine, coolers, cabinets, and storage areas
- Anticipate and communicate replenishment needs promptly
- Ensure staff works together as a team; assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, motivating, and coaching employees; serve as role model
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent
- Related Work Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience
- Supervisory Experience: None
- License or Certification: None

- Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards
- Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 lbs without assistance
- Stand, sit, or walk for extended period or entire shift
- Read and visually verify information in various formats
- Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of different sizes and weights requiring fine motor skills and hand eye coordination
- Reach overhead and below knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
