Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience working in a busy specialty coffee shop or café.
- Strong knowledge of coffee beans, origins, processing methods, extraction, and roasting fundamentals.
- Understanding of espresso preparation, dialing in, grinder adjustments, milk steaming, and latte art.
- Familiar with current coffee and beverage trends, including specialty coffee, matcha, seasonal drinks, and viral social media beverages.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining consistency, quality, and attention to detail.
- Strong multitasking skills and ability to manage high volume periods without compromising service standards.
- Excellent understanding of food safety, cleanliness, and café hygiene practices.
- Able to maintain equipment, perform daily cleaning routines, and identify basic machine issues.
- Friendly, professional, and customer focused with strong communication skills.
- Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to assist in all areas of café operations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with specialty coffee and manual brewing methods (V60).
- High knowledge of coffee roasting and how roasting profiles affect flavor.
- Experience creating and developing beverage recipes.
- Passion for coffee, continuous learning, and staying updated with industry trends.
