Job Criteria
The role requires previous Barista experience in a café, restaurant, hotel, or specialty coffee shop.
The Barista will prepare beverages, operate coffee equipment, serve customers, and maintain quality and hygiene standards.
Coffee and Service Skills
- Good knowledge of espresso-based beverages, including espresso, americano, cappuccino, latte, mocha, and other coffee drinks.
- Operate and maintain commercial coffee machines, grinders, and other bar equipment.
- Prepare coffee through extraction, grinding, and milk steaming.
- Prepare hot and cold beverages according to company recipes and quality standards.
- Apply food safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures.
- Provide good customer service and communicate effectively with customers.
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple orders.
- Coordinate effectively with kitchen and service staff.
Work Conditions
- Work shifts, weekends, and public holidays when required.
- Stand for extended periods and maintain the physical fitness needed for the role.
Availability Requirements
- Local availability in Qatar with a valid QID and transferable visa is preferred.
