About the Role

  • We are looking for an experienced Bar Manager to join TAPASAKE, our iconic Japanese Mediterranean dining destination located at One Za'abeel, Dubai.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the day to day operations of the bar, ensuring exceptional service and operational excellence.
  • Inspire, coach, and develop a high performing team of bartenders and bar supervisors.
  • Drive beverage sales through innovative cocktail programs, premium spirits, sake, and wine offerings.
  • Maintain the highest standards of guest experience, product quality, presentation, and service consistency.
  • Monitor inventory, ordering, stock control, and beverage cost to achieve financial targets.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards, hygiene, health & safety regulations, and licensing requirements.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef, Restaurant Manager, and General Manager to deliver memorable dining experiences.
  • Analyze business performance and implement initiatives to maximize revenue and profitability.
  • Lead recruitment, onboarding, scheduling, and performance management of the bar team.

Ideal Candidate

  • Minimum 3 years' experience as a Bar Manager within luxury lifestyle restaurants/beach clubs/nightlife venues.
  • Proven experience leading high volume premium beverage operations.
  • Strong knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails, premium spirits, sake, champagne, and wine.
  • Excellent leadership, coaching, and people management skills.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience managing beverage cost, inventory, and profitability.
  • Exceptional guest engagement and communication skills.
  • Fluent in English; additional European languages are an advantage.
  • Previous pre opening experience is highly desirable.
