Avanza Solutions is hiring a Bank SharePoint Technical Architect for an on-site contract role in Abu Dhabi. Requirements
- Strong SharePoint platform expertise, including SharePoint and SharePoint Administration, with experience in large, enterprise or banking environments
- Hands on experience with SharePoint Designer and InfoPath (or modern equivalents) for building workflows, forms, and customizations
- Proven Solution Architecture skills, including designing end to end SharePoint solutions, integration patterns, and governance frameworks
- Experience with security, compliance, and access control models in regulated industries, preferably banking or financial services
- Proficiency in related Microsoft technologies (e.g., Microsoft 365, Power Platform, SQL Server, IIS, Azure services for SharePoint/enterprise integration)
- Ability to gather and analyze business requirements, produce technical design documents, and communicate complex concepts to non technical stakeholders
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting capabilities, with a focus on performance optimization, reliability, and user experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft 365 or SharePoint certifications) are an advantage
- Previous experience working on site with banking or financial institutions in the Middle East is highly beneficial

Role Description
- This is an on site, contract role for a Bank SharePoint Technical Architect based in Abu Dhabi.
- The Bank SharePoint Technical Architect will design and implement secure, scalable SharePoint solutions to support banking operations and digital collaboration.
- Day to day responsibilities include translating business requirements into technical architectures, configuring and administering SharePoint environments, and ensuring integration with core banking and enterprise systems.
- The role involves creating and maintaining site structures, workflows, and forms, optimizing performance, and implementing governance, security, and compliance best practices.
- The architect will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, project managers, and development teams, oversee solution deployment, troubleshoot complex issues, and provide technical guidance, documentation, and knowledge transfer to internal teams.
