About The Role

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct ballet classes for students of various age groups and abilities.
• Teach ballet techniques, posture, flexibility, coordination, rhythm, and performance skills.
• Prepare students for stage performances, showcases, competitions, and examinations where applicable.
• Ensure a safe, inclusive, and encouraging classroom environment.
• Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to students and parents.
• Develop creative choreography and routines for performances and events.
• Maintain discipline and encourage confidence, teamwork, and self-expression among students.
• Collaborate with management and other instructors for events, schedules, and curriculum planning.
• Ensure all sessions follow health and safety guidelines.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Ballet Coach, Dance Instructor, or related role.
• Formal training or certification in Ballet/Dance is preferred.
• Strong understanding of ballet techniques and child development.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• Ability to work with children aged 4 years and above.
• Energetic, patient, and passionate about teaching dance.
• Previous experience in schools, academies, or extracurricular programs is an advantage.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of contemporary or other dance forms is a plus.
• Performance and choreography experience.
• First Aid certification is an advantage.
• Ability to engage students in a fun and motivating manner.
