- Prepare breads, pastries, doughs, and fillings; test, bake, and decorate as needed
- Review production sheet to understand daily baked goods requirements
- Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, and preparation checklist
- Maintain kitchen records to comply with food safety program
- Inform head chef about excess food products for daily specials planning
- Use tools, equipment, and appliances safely and properly
- Monitor food quality and portion sizes throughout shift
- Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, and coaching employees
- Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional
Requirements
- Technical or vocational school degree
- At least 2 years of related work experience
- No supervisory experience required
- Ability to lift 25 lbs or less
