Baker

Located along Front Street overlooking Hamilton Island Marina, Bob's Bakery is a busy island favourite producing fresh breads, pastries and baked goods for our guests and venues across Hamilton Island.

We're looking for an experienced Baker with strong scratch-baking skills to join our team. You'll need proven experience with yeast-risen breads and sourdough made from scratch, along with the technical skills to produce croissants and danishes from scratch. This is a night production role, with shifts commencing from approximately 4pm and finishing between midnight and 3am.

You'll be hands-on across nightly bakery production, preparing and baking yeast-risen breads, sourdough and a range of pastries for the following day's trade.

You'll work with doughs from scratch, including preparing and managing sourdough, and producing laminated pastries such as croissants and danishes. Working as part of the bakery team, you'll need to manage your time carefully to meet production schedules while maintaining consistent quality, presentation and food safety standards.

Certificate III in Bakery or equivalent trade qualification (Essential)

Valid Driver's Licence (Essential)
