Backend AI engineer

The Role We’re seeking an innovative and hands-on Backend AI Engineer with experience building scalable backend systems and AI-powered applications.

The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with product, engineering, and data teams to integrate AI technologies into enterprise-grade solutions while ensuring performance, reliability, scalability, and security.

Required - Minimum of 3 years of experience in backend software engineering, AI engineering, or machine learning infrastructure development - Strong programming experience in Python, Java, Go, or similar backend development languages - Experience building and maintaining scalable APIs, microservices, and distributed systems - Hands-on experience integrating AI/ML models into production environments - Familiarity with LLMs, generative AI frameworks, vector databases, prompt engineering, and AI orchestration tools - Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform - Strong understanding of databases, data pipelines, and backend architecture best practices - Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and automated testing frameworks - Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills - Comfortable working autonomously in fast-paced, ambiguous, and cross-functional environments Desired - Experience building AI-powered enterprise SaaS platforms or cybersecurity-focused applications - Familiarity with frameworks and tools such as LangChain, OpenAI APIs, Hugging Face, Pinecone, Redis, or similar AI ecosystem technologies - Knowledge of machine learning lifecycle management, model monitoring, and optimization techniques - Understanding of data privacy, AI governance, and secure software development practices - Experience working with event-driven architectures and real-time processing systems - Ability to collaborate closely with product and UX teams to deliver customer-centric AI capabilities - Passion for staying current with rapidly evolving AI technologies and industry trends - Experience contributing to architecture decisions and technical strategy discussions - A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
