1. Seller Acquisition

  • Identify and onboard new marketplace sellers through field visits, referrals, and competitor platforms.
  • Present the marketplace value proposition (reach, fulfillment model, commissions, and growth support).

2. Seller Growth & Development

  • Manage a portfolio of onboarded sellers for at least three months to stabilize and scale their business before transitioning them to the Account Management team.
  • Train and guide sellers on essential e-commerce processes such as catalog creation, product listing standards, pricing setup, inventory management, order fulfillment, and performance tracking.
  • Drive assortment expansion, express fulfillment adoption, and competitive pricing.
  • Promote participation in marketing and ad programs to improve visibility and sales.
  • Identify assortment and pricing gaps to unlock incremental GMV.

3.Operational Coordination

  • Collaborate with category, operations, and seller support teams to resolve onboarding, cataloging, or order-related issues promptly.
  • Ensure smooth handover of sellers to the Account Management team post the stabilization period

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 1–4 years of experience in Business Development, Seller Acquisition, or Field Sales.
  • Background in e-commerce, FMCG, distribution, or retail is an advantage.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
