Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven B2B Account Manager to join our team. This individual will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth across verticals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in B2B sales, a consultative selling approach, and the ability to build lasting client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue and profit goals.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in both corporate and government markets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, including C-level executives, project managers, and procurement officers.
- Collaborate with internal teams (design, project management, customer service) to deliver integrated solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, account plans, and customer interactions using CRM tools.
- Provide a consultative sales approach by understanding client needs and delivering tailored solutions.
- Represent the company at industry events, client meetings, and networking opportunities.
- Stay informed on market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies.
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree in communications, entrepreneurship, business, marketing, or a related field preferred.
3–5 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in furniture, design, real estate, or related industries.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Strong business acumen and strategic thinking skills.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency with CRM systems and sales tracking tools.
Ability to travel locally up to 50%.
Preferred Attributes
Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive, self-motivated approach.
Experience working with government contracts or public sector clients.
Familiarity with the Triangle and Eastern North Carolina markets.
