Role overview

Client engagement and consulting

• Define cloud strategies, roadmaps, and transformation initiatives with enterprise clients.
• Translate business needs into scalable Azure solutions.
• Facilitate architecture workshops, design reviews, and executive-level discussions.

Azure architecture leadership

• Architect secure, scalable, and resilient Azure platforms across IaaS, PaaS, and cloud-native services.
• Design Azure Landing Zones aligned with the Cloud Adoption Framework.
• Guide adoption of microservices, containers, and serverless patterns.
• Lead cloud adoption journeys and conduct architecture assessments and optimization reviews.

DevOps and governance

• Drive DevOps adoption using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
• Implement Terraform-based Infrastructure as Code, automated pipelines, and cloud governance.
• Define enterprise Azure governance models covering RBAC, policies, and management groups.
• Establish security, compliance, monitoring, observability, and operational excellence practices.

Delivery and leadership

• Lead and mentor cross-functional engineering teams.
• Ensure end-to-end solution delivery quality, scalability, and business alignment.
• Drive best practices, reusable assets, and accelerators.

Skills and experience

• Have strong hands-on experience in Microsoft Azure architecture and services.
• Have experience with CAF, WAF, Azure Landing Zones, enterprise-scale architecture, Terraform, and cloud automation.
• Have experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, or GitHub Actions.
• Understand cloud-native design, microservices, hybrid cloud, and migration programs.
• Have client-facing consulting, stakeholder engagement, architecture leadership, and transformation program experience.

Preferred qualifications

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305) is preferred.
• Experience with AKS, containers, or serverless technologies is preferred.
• Existing security clearance is preferred but not mandatory.

• Australian citizenship is required.
• Candidates must be eligible to obtain security clearance.
