Role overview
Qualcomm is hiring a full-stack software engineer to design and build data applications in the AWS Databricks ecosystem.
The role focuses on modern data-centric applications for critical business processes and requires architectural thinking, scalability, reliability, and engineering leadership.
Key responsibilities
- Design and build scalable, distributed data applications using AWS Databricks.
- Lead integration of GenAI and agentic AI technologies across the application development lifecycle.
- Ensure robust, secure, and maintainable architecture aligned with enterprise standards.
- Implement security, compliance, and governance controls.
- Mentor engineers and influence development standards and best practices.
Experience requirements
- At least 5 years of IT-relevant experience with a technical bachelor's degree, or at least 7 years without a bachelor's degree.
- At least 4 years of full-stack application development experience using Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- At least 3 years of experience with data structures, algorithms, and data stores.
- Experience designing distributed, event-driven, and API-first systems.
