Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Audio Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
- Certifications such as CTS or CTS-D.
- Experience with Crestron, Extron, or Barco AV control systems.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or other design software for system layout.
- Expertise in networking and IP-based AV solutions.
- Strong understanding of acoustics and sound system design.
- Familiarity with video production and editing software.
- Project management experience, including leading AV projects.
- Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.
- Hands-on experience with AV installation, configuration, cabling, wiring, and electrical systems.
- Flexibility to travel to different sites for installations and support.
- Technical writing skills for manuals and documentation.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Design and implement AV systems tailored to client needs.
- Install and set up projectors, sound systems, and video conferencing tools.
- Maintain, troubleshoot, configure, and calibrate AV equipment.
- Provide technical support and training for users.
- Collaborate with IT staff to integrate AV systems into network infrastructure.
- Manage inventory and documentation for AV equipment and accessories.
- Assist with live events, conferences, and presentations.
- Customize control systems and user interfaces.
- Create system diagrams and technical documentation.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
