Key skills for this role
Support the delivery of live-to-air transmission, pre-recorded programs, outside recordings and broadcasts including live events.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve audio and transmission issues using professional broadcast and audio production systems
Record, mix, edit, and restore audio content for studio and field productions
Schedule and manage program content using automated playout systems
Work closely with producers and content teams to plan, coordinate, and creatively support productions
Develop and deliver training and technical guidance for content makers and audio engineers
Strong knowledge of radio production processes, technologies, and broadcast systems, with hands-on experience using industry-relevant equipment and digital platforms.
Proven understanding of broadcast network operations and the ability to quickly adapt to new technologies and workflows.
Demonstrated ability to plan, prioritise, and deliver multiple tasks and projects with accuracy while working to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Advanced computer literacy and experience using broadcast, audio editing, and content production systems.
Experience setting up and supporting studio and outside broadcasts, with a strong understanding of WHS requirements, risk management, and safe manual handling practices.
