About the Role
PwC Middle East is hiring an External Audit Manager for its Core Assurance practice, focusing on banking/insurance clients. You will manage audit assignments, develop client relationships, and lead teams.

Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of clients, handling day to day client liaison and technical issues
- Develop strategies to solve complex technical challenges
- Design audit strategy and manage audit execution in alignment with engagement leader guidance
- Advise clients on financial reporting and regulatory developments
- Manage client relations with senior management, including presentations to board of directors and audit committees
- Ensure compliance with risk, quality and independence matters
- Coach, mentor and develop team members
- Encourage involvement in digital initiatives and audit transformation technologies
- Participate in recruitment process for interviewing and selecting candidates
Requirements
- Degree in accounting, finance or related field
- Minimum 6 8 years of professional experience in external financial audit at a Big 4 firm
- Completed professional qualification such as ACCA, CA, ACA, CPA
- Experience in auditing Asset Wealth Management / Funds clients is an asset
- Bilingual proficiency in Arabic and English is a plus
- Knowledge of International Standards on Auditing (ISAs) and IFRS (IFRS9, IFRS17)
- Strong project management skills
