About the Role
PwC Middle East is seeking an AI & Robotics Engineer (Senior Associate) to join its Emerging Technology Lab in Doha. The role involves designing and building AI-powered robotic systems, developing rapid prototypes, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver innovative solutions.

Responsibilities
- Design, build, and integrate AI powered robotic systems and intelligent automation solutions
- Develop rapid prototypes using robotics, AI, computer vision, embedded systems, and edge computing technologies
- Translate ambiguous problem statements into clear technical architectures and implementation plans
- Research and evaluate emerging technologies, robotics platforms, sensors, actuators, and AI models
- Develop software for robotic systems, including perception, control, navigation, and human machine interaction
- Build and integrate computer vision and multimodal AI capabilities using state of the art models and frameworks
- Collaborate with software engineers, designers, researchers, and business stakeholders to deliver innovative solutions
- Conduct testing, validation, troubleshooting, and optimization of robotics and AI systems
- Lead technical discussions and mentor junior engineers and interns
- Document system architectures, engineering decisions, and implementation processes
- Support client workshops, demonstrations, lab tours, and innovation showcases
Requirements
- 2–5 years of experience in Robotics Engineering, AI Engineering, or related fields
- Bachelor’s degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, AI, or related discipline
- Strong proficiency in Python for AI, robotics, and automation development
- Experience with robotics frameworks such as ROS/ROS2
- Experience integrating robotic hardware including sensors, cameras, LiDAR, actuators, servos, motor controllers, and embedded systems
- Knowledge of robotic kinematics, motion planning, control systems, and autonomous navigation concepts
- Experience with embedded platforms such as ESP32, Raspberry Pi, NVIDIA Jetson, Arduino, or similar
- Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit learn, and modern LLM APIs
- Strong computer vision experience using OpenCV and modern vision models
- Experience with Linux based development environments
- Experience with Git version control
- Fluency in written and spoken English and Arabic

How You’ll Contribute
- Designing, building, and integrating AI powered robotic systems and intelligent automation solutions.
- Developing rapid prototypes using robotics, AI, computer vision, embedded systems, and edge computing technologies.

What You’ll Bring
- 2–5 years of experience in Robotics Engineering, AI Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields.
- Bachelor’s degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related discipline.
- Strong problem solving skills and analytical thinking.
- Innovation mindset with passion for emerging technologies.
- Self motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Adaptability and comfort with ambiguity in fast paced environments.
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
