About the Role

Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of clients, handling day to day liaison and technical issues
- Develop business development activities and build strong client relationships
- Design audit strategy and manage audit execution in alignment with engagement leader guidance
- Advise clients on financial reporting and regulatory developments
- Manage client relations with senior management, including presentations to board and audit committees
- Ensure compliance with risk, quality and independence matters
- Coach, mentor and develop team members
- Encourage involvement in digital initiatives and audit transformation technologies
- Participate in recruitment process for interviewing and selecting candidates
Requirements
- Degree in accounting, finance or related field
- Minimum 6 8 years of professional experience in external financial audit in one of the Big 4
- Completed professional qualification such as ACCA, CA, ACA, CPA
- Experience in auditing Asset Wealth Management / Funds clients
- Bilingual proficiency in Arabic and English is a plus
- Strong project management skills
- Knowledge of IFRS and financial services regulations

How You’ll Contribute
- Assist proactively in managing a portfolio of clients, handling day to day client liaison and technical issues.
- Be responsible for business development activities to identify and research opportunities on new/existing clients.
- Develop strategies to solve complex technical challenges and contribute to team technical acumen.
- Assist in managing and delivering large projects, ensuring key deadlines are met.
- Design audit strategy and manage audit execution in alignment with engagement leader guidance.
- Manage client relations with senior management, including delivering presentations to board of directors and audit committees.
- Ensure adherence to compliance with risk, quality and independence matters.
- Keep up to date with local and national business and economic issues.
- Be responsible for coaching, mentoring and development of team members.
- Encourage involvement in digital initiatives and use of audit transformation technologies.
- Take part in the recruitment process for interviewing and selecting candidates.
What You’ll Bring
- A degree in accounting, finance or other related academic major.
- Minimum of 6 8 years of professional experience in external financial audit in one of the Big 4.
- Completed a recognised professional qualification such as ACCA, CA, ACA, CPA.
- Experience in auditing Asset Wealth Management / Funds clients is considered an asset.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Bilingual proficiency in Arabic and English (oral and written) is a plus.
- Applying ISAs on external audit of financial services with profound IFRS knowledge.
- Strong project management skills and experience managing an audit from planning to completion.
- Confidence in challenging yourself and others to complete high quality testing and documentation.
- Ability to establish and nurture positive relationships across all levels.
- Driving innovative thinking and supporting others through change.
