The engineer owns features end-to-end across requirements, design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable, secure backend services, REST and GraphQL APIs, and microservices on AWS.
- Integrate relational and NoSQL databases with efficient data models and queries.
- Build responsive, accessible React and Next.js interfaces integrated with APIs and cloud authentication.
- Develop and operate AWS applications and build CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code.
- Configure monitoring and alerting and troubleshoot deployment and runtime issues across the full stack.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, review peer code, and apply cloud security and AWS Well-Architected practices.
Qualifications and Required Skills
- B.E. or B.Tech in computer science, software engineering, information technology, or an equivalent field.
- The role requires 3–4 years of professional full-stack software development experience.
- Required AWS services include Lambda, API Gateway or AppSync, S3, DynamoDB, RDS, Cognito, SQS or SNS, and CloudFront.
- Required backend skills include REST and GraphQL APIs, microservices, OAuth 2.0, Node.js, and JavaScript or TypeScript.
- Required frontend skills include React, Next.js, modern CSS, and component libraries.
- Required database experience includes PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, and relational or NoSQL integration.
- Required delivery skills include CI/CD, infrastructure as code, Agile development, debugging, and analytical problem solving.
- Serverless event-driven architecture, CloudWatch, SonarQube, ESLint, and AWS certifications are additional or advantageous skills.
