Role Overview

The Relationship Associate develops relationships with new and existing clients, supports their trading journey, and drives engagement across a retail client portfolio.

The role focuses on growing Net Client Value through outreach, sales opportunities, client activation, retention, and client experience.

Client Relationship Management and Growth

  • Build and maintain relationships with an assigned portfolio of clients and understand their objectives and trading interests.
  • Contact prospective and existing clients through outbound calls, emails, and digital channels.
  • Support client activation, engagement, and retention through structured follow-up.
  • Identify opportunities to increase client activity and refer clients to specialist teams where appropriate.
  • Respond to client enquiries and maintain accurate CRM records.

Sales and Client Engagement

  • Meet or exceed individual sales and activity targets covering acquisition, activation, and retention KPIs.
  • Build a healthy sales pipeline through proactive prospecting and consistent engagement.
  • Understand ADSS products and communicate their value proposition to clients.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support seamless onboarding and client experiences.

Market Knowledge and Performance

  • Develop knowledge of financial markets, FX, CFDs, ADSS products, trading concepts, and industry trends.
  • Stay informed about market developments and economic events to support client conversations.
  • Track personal performance, deliver against KPIs, and contribute to team objectives.
  • Maintain accurate reporting and documentation of client interactions.

Compliance and Risk

  • Comply with applicable regulatory requirements, internal policies, and procedures.
  • Complete mandatory compliance and product training.
  • Escalate client concerns or potential compliance issues appropriately.
  • Support Know Your Customer and Anti-Money Laundering requirements throughout the client lifecycle.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • 1–3 years of experience in sales, business development, account management, or a customer-facing commercial role.
  • Financial-services or trading experience is advantageous but not required.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, target-driven environment is preferred.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills with a customer-first mindset.
  • Commercial drive, resilience, adaptability, and willingness to learn.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
