The role of Associate Project Manager, client connectivity, is key to shaping global and local client relationships by managing multiple payments and liquidity projects to successful completion.
You’ll be at the fore front of onboarding clients onto HSBC Channels and solutions, ensuring seamless transitions, driving satisfaction and supporting excellence.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide support in pre-mandate consultation, project management and solutions delivery for our diverse client base, utilizing your knowledge of SME payments, Liquidity, ERP and regulatory solutions.
- Coordinate Product and channel fulfilment by ensuring that products and services are delivered in accordance with the scope outlined in the statement of work
- Support proactive project management methodologies and organization design to assist in managing multiple client projects effectively.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders across multiple regions, under the guidance of the senior project manager
- Provide support in technical aspects of client solution delivery, including system configuration and various file formats (XML, csv) mapping and testing.
- Own client communication throughout the project lifecycle and beyond on simple projects. Assist in client communication throughout the project lifecycle and beyond on complex projects
- Provide timely updates to the project team and deal initiator on the status of all activities, ensuring transparency and alignment throughout the process and verifying project set up ahead of providing confirmation
- Ensure every client is able to operate their accounts and services as expected, and that project expectations are met before a project is completed. Complete necessary internal forms related to fulfillment processes, including billing documents, accurately and promptly
- Own EZE management of fulfillment requests with downstream rations teams via relevant mechanisms such as Client sphere, email, or another workflow tool specified by the project team.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance our Net Promoter Score, providing valuable feedback.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams globally, including Legal, Operations, IT, Sales, and Product, too optimize internal processes and project delivery. Assist in streamlining documentation processes using tools like GDOCs to ensure secure and timely delivery.
- Continuously adapt to balance and proactively meet the different demands of the team.
- Stay updated on the latest developments in payments products and technology.
- Maintain a balanced approach to work and ideas, even under pressure.
Experience & Qualifications
- A graduation degree is essential for obtaining a work permit. If your university certificate is from outside the UAE, up-to-date attestations and equivalency are also mandatory (Recognition of Higher Education Qualifications Issued Outside The UAE)
- Experience in building effective client relationships and stakeholder management.
- Ability to own end-to-end project management on simple NTB projects. Proficiency in payments and liquidity product knowledge.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in documentation creation and validation processes.
- Previous exposure to project management tasks or relevant qualifications is a plus.
- Familiarity with design thinking principles is an advantage
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Able to manage competing deadlines effectively in real time
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to learn and grow within the role
