**Job Title:** Associate Professor – Support Studies (Computer Science, Islamic Studies & Skills Courses)
Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Associate Professor to join a reputable higher education institution in Saudi Arabia within the Support Studies division.
The role involves teaching and academic contribution across Computer Science, Islamic Studies, and Skills-based courses, along with supporting research, curriculum development, and academic quality enhancement.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality undergraduate and postgraduate teaching in Computer Science, Islamic Studies, and Skills-based courses
- Contribute to curriculum design, development, and continuous improvement of support study programs
- Supervise student projects, research work, and academic assignments
- Maintain an active research profile and publish in peer-reviewed journals
- Provide academic leadership and support mentoring of junior faculty
- Participate in accreditation, quality assurance, and academic program review activities
- Contribute to departmental planning, committees, and institutional development initiatives
- Promote interdisciplinary teaching and integration of applied skills in learning outcomes
- Support adoption of modern teaching methods and educational technologies
Requirements
- PhD in Computer Science, Islamic Studies, Education, or a related discipline
- Minimum 3–5 years of higher education teaching and research experience
- Strong record of scholarly publications and academic contribution
- Experience in curriculum development and program evaluation
- Ability to teach across interdisciplinary support studies courses
- Strong communication and academic leadership skills in English (Arabic is an advantage)
- Candidates currently based in Saudi Arabia are preferred
