Requirements

- Sustainability rating certification (LEED AP (BD+C) or other specialty, PQP, etc.)
- Master’s Degree in Sustainability / Energy Engineering PMP certification
- Knowledge of the Architecture, Engineering, and Planning Industry, particularly related to the sustainability field
- Strong analytical and problem solving capabilities
- Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of stakeholders
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to review energy modeling analysis reports
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other 3D software
- Proficiency in spoken and written English; Arabic is an advantage
- 12+ years of industry experience in the engineering industry

About the role
- Khatib & Alami is looking for an experienced Associate Principal – Sustainability to join our growing team and lead the delivery of high impact sustainability projects across the Middle East.
Qualification, Technical Skills and Competencies
- Bachelor’s Degree in Architectural Engineering
- Sustainability rating certification (LEED AP (BD+C) or other specialty, PQP, etc.)
- Master’s Degree in Sustainability / Energy Engineering PMP certification
- Knowledge of the Architecture, Engineering, and Planning Industry, particularly related to the sustainability field
- Strong analytical and problem solving capabilities
- Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of stakeholders, including senior management and various departments
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to review energy modeling analysis reports
- Energy modeling experience a plus, particularly IES Quest
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other 3D software
- Proficiency in spoken and written English; Arabic is an advantage
Overall Experience Required
- 12+ years of industry experience in the engineering industry
Specific Experience Required
- 12+ years of experience in the engineering industry in a top tier/multinational engineering consultancy firm
- Strong experience with sustainability and environmental design, and management
