About the Role
IP Excellera seeks an Associate Partner in Investor Relations to lead client relationships, drive IR strategy, and generate new business. The role requires deep knowledge of GCC financial markets and capital markets/IR experience.

Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong and constructive relationships with senior strategic client leads
- Advise on client programs and be accountable for the delivery and execution of the strategy
- Take day to day responsibility for resolving any issues with the client relationship
- Monitor the client strategy and revise/adapt where appropriate
- Carry overall responsibility for all client work, from proposals to program achievement
- Support and drive the account team to ensure successful delivery of agreed plans
- Oversee all documentation sent to clients to ensure highest quality
- Assist with education of more junior colleagues
- Build and originate new business opportunities through personal networks and networking events
- Develop further relationships with business referrers
- Assist with drafting tailored proposals for new business leads
- Play a major supporting role in new business pitches
Requirements
- Understanding of GCC financial and investment markets, including familiarity with DFM, ADX and/or Tadawul
- Knowledge of and experience in Capital Markets / Corporate IR / Financial Media management
- Excellent communication skills at all levels, verbal and within different mediums
- Ability to develop relationships both inside and outside the Company
- Proactive and organised, with the ability to work autonomously
- Ability to respond sensitively and appropriately to confidential issues and information
- High level of accuracy, consistency and timely responses are essential
- Flexibility to travel as and when required
- Fluency in both spoken and written Arabic would be an advantage
- Bachelors/Master’s degree and commitment to become CIRO or CFA
- Previous communications experience would be an advantage, acquired either in house or through a consultancy

Core Competencies
- An IP Excellera Associate Partner is expected to support Partners and Managing Partners with client needs and new business building relationships.
- You are expected to be managing a portfolio which generates revenues of c. $1 million per annum through a mix of retained clients and project income.
Support and Drive Client Relationships
- Build and maintain a strong and constructive relationship with senior strategic client lead.
- Advise on client programs and be accountable for the delivery and execution of the strategy.
- Develop to be the first point of call for execution of those programs.
- Take day to day responsibility for resolving any issues with the client relationship bringing seniors in should there be an issue.
- Monitor the client strategy and revise/adapt where appropriate.
Account Management
- Carry overall responsibility for all client work, from proposals to program achievement.
- Support and drive the account team to ensure successful delivery of agreed plans.
- Oversee all documentation which is sent to clients to ensure the highest quality.
- Assist with education of more junior colleagues.
Generate New Business
- Build and originate new business opportunities through personal networks and networking events.
- Develop further relationships with business referrers.
- Assist with drafting tailored proposals for new business leads.
- Play a major supporting role in new business pitches.
People and Company Management
- Line manage junior members of staff including conducting appraisals.
- Develop and coach junior members of staff giving constructive advice.
- Identify training needs.
IR Offer Lead Strategy
- Management of IR activities for clients.
- Devise and implement IR strategy in conjunction with client.
- Ensure IR toolkit is fit for purpose – regulatory announcements and communication documents.
- Consult and assist with each Quarterly results process including origination of presentation and all documents as necessary.
- Monitor analysts’ forecasts on an ongoing basis, comparison with the client’s own forecasts, and work to guide expectations as appropriate.
- Monitor and review analyst reports of the clients and its peers and highlight any key issues for discussion with client's Executive Management.
- Prepare for and attend meetings with clients, brokers and financial advisors.
- Write investor relations Board reports to ensure Executive Management are up to date with the IR function and the financial markets’ views and concerns.
- Run Debt Capital Market IR programme, as applicable.
- Advise on and manage Capital Markets Days.
- Liaise with, and represent the clients, in external stakeholder events and programmes (Investor conferences, conference calls, roadshows).
Candidate Requirements
