Strategy Development and Implementation
- Manage development and implementation of an effective international payroll program across EGA.
- Review policies and ensure adherence to the approved payroll governance structure.
- Lead training framework development to support accurate and reliable employee payroll data.
- Align international payroll strategy and functional initiatives with EGA objectives and risk appetite.
- Provide payroll subject-matter expertise to EGA business units.
Leadership
- Manage functional objectives through objective setting, performance management, team development, and motivation.
- Manage portfolio workload to balance analysis, risk, and business objectives.
- Act as a role model and promote organizational values and ethics.
Budgeting and Financial Performance
- Prepare and recommend the functional budget.
- Monitor financial performance against budget and identify cost reduction or performance improvement opportunities.
Requirements
- Ability to manage implementation of an international payroll program within an approved framework and governance structure.
- Ability to develop and implement training frameworks that support accurate and reliable employee payroll data.
- Ability to align payroll strategy and functional initiatives with corporate objectives and risk appetite.
- International payroll subject-matter expertise sufficient to advise EGA business units.
- People leadership experience, including setting objectives, managing performance, developing, and motivating team members.
