Maintenance Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, calibrate, repair, recommission, and maintain instrumentation and control equipment and systems in the power plant.
- Perform preventive, corrective, breakdown, shift, and on-call maintenance to restore I&C systems quickly.
- Assess assigned jobs, relevant methods, procedures, risks, tools, and equipment before completing work.
- Carry out maintenance work in accordance with EHS standards and plant operating requirements.
- Monitor recurring breakdowns and implement resolutions to prevent recurrence.
Role Requirements
- The role involves maintaining a wide range of instrumentation and control equipment and systems in a power plant.
- The technician must work with limited direction and supervision, including shift and on-call duties when required.
- The role requires safe work practices, appropriate tool selection, SAP use, and maintenance recordkeeping.
Skills and Tools
- Instrumentation and control equipment maintenance.
- Troubleshooting, calibration, repair, and recommissioning.
- SAP for spare-parts withdrawal and maintenance records.
