Responsibilities
- Manage and lead UAE accounts team and India support office to record accounting transactions in ERP on a real time basis complying with UAE VAT and Corporate Tax requirements
- Review roles and responsibilities of accounts team members, provide training, and develop documentation
- Identify costs incurred for group companies and coordinate intercompany invoicing monthly
- Review existing agreements and design new ones for related party transactions for tax compliance
- Handle VAT compliance including filing VAT returns in coordination with accounts department and consultants
- Ensure inventories and bill of entries are reconciled with UAE customs records monthly
- Keep track of fixed assets and verify through periodic physical verification
- Train accounts staff in advanced Excel functions
- Handle banking and payroll functions and assist during audits
- Identify areas for improvement in accounts department and introduce new systems/procedures
- Assist Finance Manager by preparing financial and MIS reports
Requirements
- CA Intermediate mandatory
- Minimum 5 years of post qualification experience in UAE
- Driving License with own Vehicle
