The AGM- Corporate Affairs is responsible for driving the strategic positioning and stakeholder engagement initiatives of the organization within the energy sector. The role is responsible for overseeing government and industry relations, and public policy advocacy to safeguard the organization’s interests and enhance its reputation. The incumbent will play a pivotal role in navigating policy landscapes, influencing reforms, and ensuring that corporate governance and compliance standards are upheld in alignment with sectoral priorities. ORGANISATION CHART Head â Policy Advocacy & Corporate Affairs --> AGM â Corporate Affairs KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Responsibilities Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Corporate Representation and Advocacy Represent the company in central-level industry forums, working groups, and policy roundtables related to power and renewables in the energy sector. Act as a key point of contact for external stakeholders on policy and regulatory matters concerning corporate affairs. Facilitate environmental clearances and approvals required for green energy initiatives and infrastructure development. Develop briefing materials, presentations, and communication strategies for senior management to engage with policymakers effectively. Number of strategic policy engagements conducted annually TAT for securing key environmental clearances and approvals Stakeholder Engagement Liaise with key central government ministries such as Power, Renewables, Energy, Environment, and Finance to represent the companyâs strategic interests. Build and sustain collaborative relationships with senior bureaucrats and policy influencers to support regulatory alignment and policy advocacy. Track developments in central policies and regulations impacting the energy sector, driving timely communication and internal alignment. Establish and manage strategic relationships with the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, particularly in the context of renewables and energy projects and sustainability regulations. Stakeholder Satisfaction Score Regulatory Coordination Interface with the Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (CERC) and other central authorities to present company positions, respond to queries, and drive Regulatory compliance. Prepare policy recommendations in coordination with internal legal and strategy teams. Monitor regulatory developments and proactively flag potential risks and opportunities for the business.
