Overview

The Associate General Counsel at Qiddiya Investment Company will be responsible for providing comprehensive legal support and guidance across the company's various projects and subsidiaries, including Qiddiya Park Operations LLC—which oversees the development of major entertainment projects such as Six Flags Theme Park and Aquarabia Water Park.

This role requires a skilled legal professional with deep expertise in corporate, commercial, and infrastructure law, especially within the leisure and IT sectors focusing on consumer-facing products and systems.

The Associate General Counsel will act as a trusted advisor, collaborating closely with multiple departments to mitigate legal risks and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Key responsibilities include advising on a broad range of transactional and operational matters, managing external counsel relationships, overseeing dispute resolution efforts, and contributing to the overall legal strategy to safeguard the company's interests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide timely, accurate legal advice and support to internal teams and subsidiaries
  • Assist in developing and implementing legal frameworks and processes that protect company assets and ensure compliance
  • Lead negotiation and management of contracts and other legal transactions
  • Oversee claims and dispute resolution processes, coordinating with external counsel as necessary

Requirements

  • Law degree (LL.B or equivalent) is required; advanced degree (LL.M or Juris Doctor) preferred
  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant legal experience, particularly in entertainment, infrastructure, or related sectors
  • Admission to practice law in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is preferred; admission in a common law jurisdiction is a plus
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across multiple teams
  • Excellent analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a dynamic environment
  • Bilingual proficiency in Arabic and English highly desirable
