- Conduct presentations for prospective clients
- Mentor and train team members
- Oversee engineering computations and structural facade analysis
- Review subcontractor shop drawings and material submissions
Requirements
- Bachelor of Architecture or Bachelor of Engineering
- Minimum 10 years' experience in a facade role
- Experience in team leadership and mentoring
- Knowledge of relevant codes and standards
- Proficiency in design software

Company Overview

List of Responsibilities
- The Associate Director forms part of the engineering team and assumes responsibilities that contribute to the growth of Façade Engineering.
- Responsible for all design, engineering, documentation, administration and compliance for facade and other disciplines.
- Lead, develop, and manage a team of approx. 5 10 direct reports.
- Represent Inhabit on projects with clients and provide technical leadership.
- Conduct presentations of proposals for prospective clients.
- Create, build and maintain business opportunities.
- Manage projects and resources to ensure professional services are achieved.
- Participate in yearly management meetings to develop strategic business planning.
- Report to the Director on performance of self and team.
- Provide training and mentoring to the team.
- Prepare project proposals including coordination of inputs from other disciplines.
- Maintain regular contact with existing or prospective clients.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Architecture or Bachelor of Engineering is preferable.
- Minimum of 10 years' experience in a facade role.
Additional Information
- Travel to various work locations throughout Middle East may be required.
- Correctly use and maintain Personal Protective Equipment provided.
- Take reasonable care for health and safety of self and others.
- Seek guidance for new or modified work procedures.
- Participate in compliance training and EHS activities.
- Abide by the Code of Conduct.
