Processes and Risk Management

• Execute second-line compliance risk controls through independent risk control, specialist advice, and constructive challenge.
• Deliver ongoing CFCC training on regulatory developments, policies, and standards.
• Advise on controls that mitigate regulatory risks.
• Escalate breaches and oversee the identification, assessment, management, monitoring, mitigation, and reporting of compliance risks.
• Analyze the impact of complex regulatory compliance matters on the business and operations.
• Collaborate across CFCC teams to anticipate horizon risks and develop mitigation strategies.

Governance

• Draft, implement, and maintain CFCC policies, standards, operating instructions, and process notes.
• Promote a culture of openness, trust, risk awareness, ethics, and organizational compliance.
• Manage remediation processes for CFCC risk issues and breaches.
• Support horizon scanning for regulatory changes and breaches relevant to the business model.
• Design, implement, and manage regulatory change management in a rapidly evolving regulatory landscape.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience in financial crime, compliance, and regulatory risk management is required.
• Strong understanding of financial services, regulatory frameworks, corporate governance, and CFCC risk management is required.
• Ability to provide nuanced advice and analyze complex problem statements is required.
• Strong business acumen covering industry trends and regulatory considerations is required.
• Ability to work in a creative, fast-paced, agile digital environment is required.
• Ability to support fair customer outcomes and financial crime compliance is required.
