- Advise on digital transformation, data protection, and privacy regulations
- Support clients on compliance with local, regional, and international data laws
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial and technology related agreements
- Conduct research on legal developments in digital commerce, cybersecurity, and emerging technologies
- Prepare client updates, legal memoranda, and regulatory analyses
- Work closely with clients to deliver practical, commercially focused legal advice
- Collaborate with cross practice teams, including disputes where required
Requirements
- 2–6 years’ post qualification experience
- Qualified in a common law jurisdiction
- Experience in TMT, data protection, or commercial technology law
- Prior GCC or Middle East experience preferred
- Law degree from an accredited institution
- Valid bar admission or practicing certificate

Role Overview
- Al Tamimi & Company is seeking a high calibre Associate (2–6 PQE) to join its Digital & Data practice in Abu Dhabi.
- The successful candidate will advise clients on a broad range of digital and data related legal matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise on digital transformation, data protection, and privacy regulations
- Support clients on compliance with local, regional, and international data laws

- Conduct research on legal developments in digital commerce, cybersecurity, and emerging technologies (AI, blockchain, IoT)
- Prepare client updates, legal memoranda, and regulatory analyses
- Work closely with clients to deliver practical, commercially focused legal advice
- Collaborate with cross practice teams, including disputes where required
Candidate Profile
- 2–6 years’ post qualification experience
- Qualified in a common law jurisdiction
- Experience in TMT, data protection, or commercial technology law
- Prior GCC or Middle East experience preferred
- Strong analytical, drafting, and client management skills

- Law degree from an accredited institution
- Valid bar admission or practicing certificate
