Your Opportunity
Join Cuscal's Cloud, Data & Infrastructure team within Enterprise Technology Services as an Associate Database Administrator.
Support Oracle and SQL Server environments that underpin critical systems in Australia's payments ecosystem.
Work with Senior DBAs and technology stakeholders on business-as-usual support, operational improvements, and database-related projects.
Responsibilities
- Provide operational DBA support across Oracle and SQL Server database environments.
- Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot database performance, availability, and reliability.
- Support database maintenance, upgrades, backups, and recovery activities.
- Contribute to operational projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support critical production environments with Senior DBAs, infrastructure teams, and application teams.
- Participate in an on-call roster for after-hours support of business-critical systems.
What You'll Bring
- Bring 3-5 years of database administration experience; strong candidates with 2-3 years of relevant experience are also welcomed.
- Have strong Oracle Database Administration experience and exposure to Microsoft SQL Server administration.
