Associate Core Routing and IP Engineer

Provide advanced troubleshooting and support for contribution /MCR systems.

W ork with the first-line support team s to r esolve issues related to MCR.

Ensure minimal downtime and fast resolution for video content delivery issues.

Support all Video Engineering teams with network issues

Work with internal teams to diagnose and fix network performance issues impacting contribution systems or video signal delivery.

Ensure seamless communication between engineering teams and other stakeholders during network-related issues

Configure, Test and Maintain Contribution Systems

Working on projects you will configure contribution systems to ensure they are optimi s ed for performance and stability.

Conduct tests on systems to ensure new software versions and features work as expected

Perform routine system maintenance, updates, and patches to ensure the system is up to date.

Create Handover Documents in Confluence and Knowledge Sharing

Document detailed handover notes in Confluence for other teams to reference.

Regularly update internal documentation to keep up with new configurations, troubleshooting steps, and workflows.

A Learning mindset - A passion for Learning, adaptation, and self-improvement.

The ability to communicate efficiently and effectively - including preparing and conducting technical demonstrations

K nowledge of networking protocols and technologies - Strong understanding of TCP/IP, UDP, VLANs, Firewalls, and Multicast networking

Proficient in cloud technologies, with a strong focus on AWS

U nderstanding of the requirements of a live broadcast environment
