About the Role

Responsibilities
- Combine client relationship management with strong risk assessment and management capabilities
- Deliver BCO tasks in line with agreed OKRs, SLAs and KPIs
- Own the end to end Credit & Lending servicing journey
- Participate in deal discussions and meetings with clients or credit risk
- Build and maintain strong relationships across teams
- Work with BCO Team Lead to ensure adequate credit risk management controls
- Drive continuous improvement in productivity whilst enhancing client experience
- Adopt technology and customer experience improvement initiatives
- Protect the Bank by acting as First Line of Defence and adhering to all controls
- Maintain HSBC internal control standards
Requirements
- Proven expertise in corporate lending with strong analytical skills
- Sound credit knowledge with proven skills of writing credit proposals
- Strong understanding of financing instruments and banking products for Wholesale Banking
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Degree in Business, Finance or related field is highly desirable
- Graduation degree essential for UAE visa and work permit

About the Role
- HSBC Corporate and Institutional Banking (CIB) is an emerging markets led, financing focused business.
- Credit & Capital Management Services (CCMS) is implementing a new E2E operating model introducing the Business Credit Office (BCO).
- The BCO function will handle first line credit risk responsibilities including structuring, credit analysis, rating recommendation, and client credit monitoring.
Key Responsibilities
