Role overview
The Associate Field Engineer supports field commissioning of customer-specific building automation systems.
This is an entry point into a field engineering career, with assignments increasing in difficulty as skills develop.
Key responsibilities
- Initiate, install, troubleshoot, and optimize systems using Direct Digital Control technology.
- Provide solutions for system issues and deliver small to mid-level projects.
- Ensure controls, sensors, and software operate properly.
- Load software and configure trends, alarms, and reports.
- Communicate and document project status for customers.
- Train building owners and operators on the complete system.
Required qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- A valid, current driver's license and company insurability are required.
- The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds and performing extended squatting and climbing.
- The role requires working above eight feet and using ladders and motorized lift equipment.
